Hi Everybody: I believe, that one of the most important thing to disscuss is how to reduce consumerism. Cosumerism make us to buy things we dont need (new cell phones, new laptops and new clothes even if we already have one, for example). In that way we produce extra Green House Gases (GHG) unconciously, supporting programmed obsolecence (one of the tools of consumerism). To mitigate global warming we need to stop buying thins we dont need... we need to stop consumerism!!! Reducing consumerism will obligate the entreprise to stop GHG emmisions. El consumismo nos hace comprar cosas que no necesitamos (por ejemplo, nuevos celulares, laptops o ropa.. a pesar de que ya tenemos la necesaria). De esta forma producimos inconcientemente más gases de efecto invernadero y soportamos la denominada obsolecencia programada (una de las hrramientas más versátiles del consumismo). Para mitigar el cambio climático debemos dejar de comprar cosas que no necesitamos... necesitamos detener el consumismo!!
